LEICESTER MELA (INDIAN FESTIVAL) ON SUNDAY 21 AUGUST - DEFINITELY WORTH VISITING BEFORE THE CONFERENCE

Leicester Belgrave Mela (leicester-mela.co.uk)

ECEM has been running for more than 3 decades and has grown to become the largest scientific meeting on eye movement research worldwide. The conference brings together a cross-disciplinary community of researchers working towards a better understanding the neurophysiology and clinical relevance of eye movements, while also using them as a tool to study a wide range of topics in neuroscience, cognitive science and various fields of applied vision research.

Our goal is to promote cross-disciplinary communication and cooperation between researchers and practitioners from diverse areas such as neurophysiology, psychology, medical sciences, linguistics, computer science, and human factors. An important feature of ECEM is the presentation of state of the art equipment and software by manufacturers of eye movement recording systems (see the link below for the conference sponsors).

FIND OUT MORE ABOUT LEICESTER

Leicester is one of the oldest cities in England, offering the opportunity to visit Roman ruins, the Cathedral and medieval guildhall, and the final resting place of the last Plantagenet King. It’s also one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the UK, famous in particular for its many excellent Indian restaurants and spectacular annual Diwali festival.
